Secondary Programs
Career and technical education is designed to prepare students for employment after high school, college, or military experience. Cass Career Center instructors are professionals or experts in their field. By learning from people who work in the profession, students receive a "hands on" education, learning valuable skills that can be applied to future work situations. Cass Career Center also provides learning facilities and equipment similar to those found in "real world" work environments.
CCC maintains partnerships with business and industry throughout the Kansas City area to ensure that all training programs provide students with job skills necessary for employment. Many CCC courses articulated credit from the Metropolitan Community Colleges in Kansas City as well as other colleges & trade schools. Additionally, CCC offers two dual credit courses through the University of Central Missouri.
Career Certifications
CCC programs offer students the opportunity to obtain career certifications including:
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA 10-Hour)
and many more.
