At Cass Career Center, we don't just meet - we move.

Your support doesn’t sit on a shelf. It goes to work—showing up in labs, shops, competitions, and classrooms where students put their skills into action and prepare for real careers.

🔧 How Your Contribution Goes to Work

Your support helps us:

  • Put real skills into action through workforce demonstrations, internships, and industry experiences

  • Cover the cost of industry certifications that validate student skills and boost employability

  • Equip classrooms and labs with professional-grade tools and technology

  • Remove financial barriers so students can fully participate in career-building opportunities

  • Recognize excellence among students and the educators who guide them

  • Strengthen the local talent pipeline by preparing students for immediate workforce success

Below is how that support comes to life every day at Cass Career Center.

🏆 Student Competitions, Internships & Workforce Development

At Cass Career Center, career readiness is demonstrated — not assumed.

Student competitions, internships, and certifications provide real-world proof of skill, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in professional settings and under industry expectations.

Through opportunities such as student organization competitions, paid and unpaid internships, and industry-aligned experiences, students:

  • Perform hands-on tasks evaluated against industry standards

  • Demonstrate technical skills in competitive and workplace environments

  • Build resumes with verified, skills-based accomplishments

  • Develop professionalism, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

  • Gain confidence working alongside industry professionals and employers

Many students also pursue industry-recognized certifications that validate their skills and open doors to employment, advancement, and postsecondary training.

Your support helps cover:

  • Competition registration, travel, and lodging

  • Internship-related costs that remove participation barriers

  • Certification testing fees and required materials

These experiences often become resume highlights, interview talking points, and direct pathways to employment, scholarships, and advanced training.
