CNA Training
Program Description
This hybrid CNA program prepares students to perform basic nursing skills for individuals in long-term care facilities, adult daycare centers, hospitals or homes. The course consists of a minimum of 75 hrs of classroom instruction & a minimum of 100 hours of on-the-job training in a long-term care facility (approved by DHSS). Clinicals will start after the student has completed 18 classroom hours.

Student Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide a copy of a signed/valid Social Security card or Work Permit at time of registration
- Provide a copy of negative TB PPD skin tests or negative TB blood test or negative chest x-ray that is less than 6 months old on the first day of class
- May need to provide COVID-19 vaccination or exemption letter.
- Be free of ALL felony crimes against persons on your criminal background check
- Student must be registered with the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) https://health.mo.gov/safety/fcsr
