Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Chenoweth along with five FBLA officers attended the District 10 Fall Planning Meeting in Clinton, MO on October 9, 2007. They attended the opening and closing sessions, business meeting and several workshops throughout the day.

On November 16th, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Chenoweth delivered eighteen shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The boxes were filled with a variety of items including school supplies, hygiene items, candy, and toys. Donated items were collected at Cass Career Center. These boxes are given to needy children around the world during the holiday season.

On November 27th, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Chenoweth and FBLA members met at Cass Career Center to make Holiday Ornaments for the residents of Crown Care Center. Over one hundred Elves, Snowmen, Snow Bears, and Snowflakes were put together. These will be personally delivered by students in the following weeks. This has been a community service tradition for the past five years.

Students will be attending District Leadership Conference on February 28 in Warrensburg at the UCM campus. They will compete in a variety of events both written and performance. Should they qualify; the State Leadership Conference will be held in Columbia, MO, April 20-22.

The FBLA-PBL Mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

Any student who has had a Business class can be a member of FBLA.

We meet once a month either at school or at a local business.
